*NEW MARKING - we are now marking these with what we call laser etching. We used to just mark the tops with a fast laser marking but for small text it was hard to read and less deep then our new etching. if you'd like this same etching but even contact us for a quote.
Stainless Steel Rebar Cap - Laser Marked
Made from 304 stainless
designed to fit 1/2" and 5/8" rebar
* These are not safety caps and are for identification purposes only*
our patented locking tabs will either lock onto the rebar or be very difficult to remove depending on the rebar.
unlike aluminum or plastic stainless will not give easily when being placed onto the rebar. consider using a rebar driver or cut the rebar off after pounding into the ground, so the rebar is not mushroomed allowing the cap to be easily installed.

The Only Cap Worth...
I'm already using Bathey stainless caps for pls number marking to give my work some extra permanence. When I returned to some old control points to find plastic caps sunbleached and crumbling after only a few years, I decided stainless is worth the extra cost there as well. I hopped on the website and snapped off a quick design. They took the time to make a set of samples with alternative designs, and allowed me to pick one that looks much better! They assured me they'll keep the design on file for easy and consistent re-orders, which I'll be doing for the rest of my career!

Regular Size Stainless Steel Survey Caps
Very hard to read, lettering was way to small. Maybe if you only have your RLS number on them you would be able to read it. I bought 500 of them, and now have to discard them. Not worth the money.
