Bathey Survey Markers was founded in 1972. Originally part of the Bathey MFG. company it was sold to Ovid and Elizabeth McDonald in the 80's and was moved to Howell Michigan. At this time Bathey mostly made brass monument markers and survey stakes. With the declining demand for these types of markers the company was purchased by their son Curt who brought all the manufacturing in-house with adding new molds for plastic rebar caps and stamping dies for metal disc. 2009 Bathey moved to Englewood Florida with the help of his wife and two sons we started to grow. After some close calls with hurricanes in 2018 Bathey moved to Drummond Island in the upper peninsula of Michigan. In 2022 we had a quick move for a year to Lexington TN but moved back to Mi almost a year after.
Today we are a family run company that tries to make as many products in-house and in the USA as we can. We strive for speedy turn around on our plastic rebar caps, stainless survey markers and metal disc.
